Meet Valerie Lavalley
Hi, my name is Valerie Lavalley, owner and founder of Cameron Jean Interiors. I chose the name Cameron Jean after my vivacious daughter, Cameron. Yes, I get called Cameron all the time, and I am ok with it!
I come from a family that has been in Southlake for seven generations, and I am proud to raise my two children in my hometown. I come from a long line of hard-working farmers who cultivated the land and always put their family first. Growing up on our family farm instilled in me a strong work ethic that I apply in all that I do. I graduated from Carroll in 2002 and then went on to complete my education at Texas Tech University. “Guns Up!” I began working in the design industry right out of college and that is where I discovered my passion for all things interior design! Much of my free time is spent with family and friends. Whether it is tending to our chickens, watching our children play sports, or enjoying a nice dinner with friends, being with my loved ones is where I find joy.

Cameron Jean Interiors offers residential and commercial interior decorating and design services to clients across the United States from our headquarters in Southlake, Texas. We are a woman-owned family business seeking to create beautiful, functional spaces perfected to fit each client.
With more than 15 years of experience in remodeling, new construction, and decorating, our consultative and knowledgeable team will guide you through your project from start to finish. Whether you are looking for an updated look with existing pieces or craving a fresh start, we strive to make your project enjoyable while creating the space of your dreams!
Before starting Cameron Jean Interiors, Valerie worked for 10 years in the design industry as a design consultant for a boutique tile and floor design shop in Vermont, and then as a design consultant for Ferguson. Her job was to help close the gap between the client and home builder. During that time, she acquired a wealth of knowledge in products such as lighting, appliances, plumbing, flooring, space planning, and the overall start to finish design process. In 2017, Valerie made the bold decision to go out on her own and start Cameron Jean Interiors. It was her passion in the design process to help people create inviting spaces within their homes that made Cameron Jean Interiors what it is today! Since then, Cameron Jean Interiors has grown into a team of three women who share the same enthusiasm for the art of design and hard work. We understand that the design process can be daunting, but it is our goal to ensure our clients have a seamless design experience.

We use an exclusive concept. Our team will work closely with architects and clients to determine the flow of a space, the needs of occupants, and the style that best suits both.
This is where concept and design come together! Clients will review and finalize design plans. These include renderings, design boards, specifications, and all other design elements.
